WELCOME TO THE WOOD FLOOR WAREHOUSE Website!! We're glad you found us, now if you'll let me tell you a little about us, maybe we'll do some business!
Let me introduce myself first. My name is Randy McCullough, owner of the WOOD FLOOR WAREHOUSE. I'm the middle guy in the picture with my dad Buck and Uncle Ronald on my left and my sons Alec and Tanner on my right. I'm a third generation wood floor professional with a strong installation background from some of the countries finest custom homes to many prominient commercial and retail installations such as MACY"S New York City, BLOOMINGDALES, LAURA ASHLEY, JONES NEW YORK, etc. The reason I mention this is not to brag, but to let you know that you're not dealing with some slick talking salesman, ( and there's a lot of them on the internet who can hide behind their computers ), but someone who has "walked the talk". We prove this every Saturday morning when we teach anywhere from 5 to 30 people a "how to" installation class that teaches you everything from layout to cleanup. To date we've taught a little over 8000 people out of our Salt Lake location alone. Our Ogden location provides the same class each Saturday as well. Now, let me tell you why we're different than all the Carpet Stores, Big Home Centers, etc. We really want your business! REALLY!! That might sound hokey but have you been in the big home center lately and tried to get waited on?? I can't belive they sell anything the way I've waited around for them to help me. Plus the selection you're offered there is actually insulting. One of the first things you'll notice as you walk in to one of our stores is you will probably be greeted by a family member. Yep, we're a family owned business and like to treat our customers like "one of the family". We even have old customers stop by to check in on us from time to time just to say hello and tell us how much they enjoy their floor! We truely love and appreciate our customers. One of the next things you'll notice when you walk into the WOOD FLOOR WAREHOUSE is the incredible selection. Every wood imaginable, and all on really big 2 ft. by 8 ft. samples. Not long ago a local television newscaster came in and after looking around a few minutes his first words to me were, " I had no idea"! He and his wife had been shopping around to all the usual stores but saw the same stuff everywhere they went. Within a few minutes he and his wife had picked out a Handscraped American Cherry floor for thier new house which they hadn't seen anywhere before. This is just one example and is a story we hear every day from our customers! Now, what really sets us apart from the others, (and drives them crazy as well). We buy as if we were a large wholesale distributor, but will sell DIRECT to the PUBLIC. Many of the manufacturers we represent tell us the WOOD FLOOR WAREHOUSE is their largest customer. That gives us some distinct advantages over the others, respect, clout, and their best price! We then allow you to buy from us at fantastic savings because of the huge volumes we move through our warehouses! Also when these manufacturers close out styles or colors, which all manufacturers do, they call us first and offer us these specials because they know we love a good deal! You'll almost always find closeouts or overruns at crazy low prices! Ask for these first!
Now if this isn't enough to convince you, let me add that we have a full tool rental program at a fraction of the cost of most tool rental centers for our customers who want to do it yourself. If you just don't have the time and want to have your floor installed, we'll give you the name of a qualified, licensed, installer that will come to your house at no charge to you and will measure for you your job and give you a price, which you will find that we've already negotiated down to the lowest price you'll find, but will not have to compromise on quality! These installers stay incredibly busy, but seem to always be able to fit you in! They even travel out of state for some of our customers and even with a little extra travel expense our customers find they still save money!
